New Puma TV Ad Features No-Maddz and Usain Bolt
Check out this latest commercial from Puma featuring local Jamaican band, No-Maddz and Usain Bolt.
Here’s what Puma has to say about the new spot, “Hailing from Jamaica (World’s Fastest Country) Rocker, Flex & Groove, together with Usain Bolt (World’s Fastest Man), are helping PUMA launch its new running shoe, called the Faas. The Faas range includes everything you need in a running shoe, and nothing more. This spot – Blam! Blam! – is the band’s first exclusive TV commercial. But with speed like this there’s bound to be more . . .Coincidentally Rocker, Flex, And, Groove’s names coincide with the key technologies of the Faas running shoes”, see YouTube for more.
No-Maddz was formed as a Dub Poetry group in 2000. The group is made up of Sheldon Shepherd, Everaldo Creary, Christopher Gordon and O’neil Peart. The group has won numerous awards locally and has been hailed as the ‘Most Entertaining Performer of the Year” in December 2010 by Television Jamaica (TVJ).
The group recorded their debut album “The Trod” on March 27, 2010 (see YardEdge featured video).
