Ainsley Burrows, a Jamaican poet and performer stars in this new Guinness “Journey to Greatness” ad.

Shot in New Jersey, the ad now airs across the Caribbean.

Ainsley Burrows has been performing widely in Europe and has won Best International Performer in 2001 and 2002 from the Farrago Poetry Cafe in London and the Munich International Poetry Slam Championship Award in 2001 among others.

After attending Kingston College high school, Burrows migrated to Brooklyn as a teenager in 1990 and there discovered his talent for writing. Since then, Burrows has released several recordings, including his most recent, “Evolver” on the Burrows Ink label, which includes a tribute to Senator Barack Obama.
